A cool story from Iraq

For some reason my blog isn’t transferring this over, so I have to do it manually.  Anyway, my father in law just returned from Iraq and he had a really cool story that I wanted to share.

Downloading Chrome OS...

Google formally announced their browser OS yesterday, and you can now download a very early version of it for free.

First, you will need to get Virtual Box, here: http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

Then you can get Chrome OS (after you set up an account with gdgt) here: http://gdgt.com/google/chrome-os/download/

What do you think about it?

I love the Dallas Mavericks.  They redeem some of the trashiness of the NBA because it seems like they always have fun and play because they like the game.  Dirk is growing on me too, now that he has taken leadership over the team the last couple of years.  Last night they were tied in overtime against the Bucks with 3.1 seconds left.  Dirk got the pass from Kidd, heaved up the shot and it rattled home for the win.  Party on.
